I am really loving noah and the whale at the moment. Particularly this song recently. I have been listening to it over and over when the dark clouds start to gather.

Pretty pillows

I needed to give a gift over the weekend and as pennies are few I decided to decorate some pillows. All you need is some plain pillow cases (I got mine for very cheap in pennys) and some pretty ribbon.

Then I wrapped them up and was ready to go.

I have just come across a very pretty etsy store called Tissage. I love pearls so naturally fell in love with these pieces:

The Owls are not what they seem...

I received a beautiful gift over the weekend and have been dying to put it together since I opened it. This is the gift:

They are so easy to put together and turn out so well. So let me introduce you:

I will go from left to right, first we have pedro, then gordie, I had to call the biggest one Cooper and finally we have charlie.

Charlie is often found out on the balcony with her head stuck in a book. She loves to learn.

Gordie on the other hand prefers to be tucked up in his bed listening to his ipod. Especially when Cooper is practicing his guitar.

Cooper sees himself as the next Bob Dylan, sadly he is not, but bless him he tries.

Pedro is a boy for the quiet life, a nice cup of tea with no milk and he's in heaven.

The beginning....

I decided to start this blog along with my etsy store as a sort of diary of the different things I enjoy creating and a bit of background to the things that I like. I enjoy looking at pictures more than anything so I am hoping to keep this blog filled with lots of pretty photographs. Please leave me comments on your thoughts and any feedback on my little store.

In setting this up I decided to give a name and say a little something about each piece I make for the etsy store. Mostly because I spend more time with the things that I make than with anybody else and it helps to keep things light-hearted.
